Inspire With Colors is a Texas 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization with a mission deeply rooted in appreciation of the artist in all of us.
For many, funding for art courses is among the first to be cut as budgets tighten.
This is especially difficult for the most vulnerable among us -- young children and those with communication impairments.
Our mission is to provide art supplies to underfunded facilities and individuals in need in order to inspire self-creativity and provide widespread opportunities to engage in art.
I'm a believer in children expressing themselves through art. The kids here often struggle with feelings they don't fully understand. The art supplies we received through Inspire With Colors helped some of our kids communicate with their health care professionals. On behalf of our staff, doctors, and patients, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you.
As a non-profit ourselves, we are focused on keeping at-risk youth involved educational activities between the end of the school day and the end of the workday. We aren't experts in art, but Inspire With Colors provided us with supplies and volunteer instructors. Their support has really added a whole new dynamic to what we can provide and encouraged more students to join.
